Ukraine Legal Network
A toolkit for victims of international crimes
Ukraine Legal Network (ULN) is a startup aiming at supporting survivors of international crimes in the Netherlands. The organisation believes in the importance of assisting these victims, given the complexity of their situation and the limited help available. Their initiative is a response to the pressing societal challenges posed by the increasing number of international conflicts and consequently the escalating influx of refugees.
How they work
ULN aims to achieve these goals by creating a Toolkit for victims of international crimes to identify their legal options on the Dutch and International levels. They do so by developing a mobile and web application that will have a twofold approach. Firstly, it will provide crucial information on the legalissues survivors of international crimes face. Secondly, the platform will serve as a connection point for survivors, by creating referrral pathways to connect them with relevant individuals, organisations, foundations and government authorities. The scope of this for now is focused on the Netherlands, but the aim is to extend these efforts beyond the Dutch borders.
