Do you also believe that technology can be the solution to legal and judicial problems? And do you even have some ideas for this on the shelf? Then read on, we may be able to help you!

Whether you are a student, researcher or young alumnus of the University of Amsterdam; the Law Hub aims to support innovative solutions within the legal and judicial sector. That's why we're launching our Start-up Fund again this year, offering start-up investments of €2,500 to get your innovative product or start-up idea off the ground. Of course, students who have taken the course Justice Entrepreneurship are especially invited to apply to the fund.

In the past, the Law Hub has already funded a number of promising initiatives - and with success! From Adab Finance to YourLegals; We still work closely with a number of these start-ups today. This year, regular start-ups as well as nonprofits and foundations can apply. Be aware that the goal of the fund is to get your innovative product or start-up idea off the ground, and that you can use it purely for that purpose.

The selection process has two parts: the application form, see the link below, which you must submit before 30 October. The second part is an interview (online) on 25 November 15:00-17:30, with an independent jury of creative experts and (legal) entrepreneurs. The interview will start with your pitch, followed by about 20 minutes of Q&A, which will focus on risk factors (e.g. how likely is your organization's success) and goal (e.g. what will you spend the money on and is the investment necessary for this activity?)

Have we piqued your interest and can't wait to share your idea with us? Go to the application form for Start-up Fund at the bottom of this page and sign up!
