The method that puts the end user first.
At the Amsterdam Law Hub, we support the 'Human Centered Design' method. Why? Because we believe that before you develop a product or service you need to know the needs of the end user. This will improve the quality and sustainability of a tool and increase your chances of making a real impact in the legal sector.
The toolkit is broken into seven major sections. We walk you through an introduction to the design process itself, before diving into the six major phases: Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test and Assess.

We also highlight some of our own favourite innovations making use of HCD in the sector.
