If you ever applied for any research grant, you know how important it is to be short and concise. For this reason, the Law Hub is hosting the online workshop 'Pitch Perfect' on Friday the 19th of March in which you can participate!

Your short story is a pitch, written or oral, and making it perfect is an art. Want to understand where other pitches fail, and how you can avoid the same problems? Do you need advice on developing a story for a multi-disciplinary panel?

Your Pitch Perfect

Come and join the Law Hub’s workshop, as we walk you through the do’s and don’ts of grant pitching. During the 1,5 hours hands-on training we work with you to develop an application that is concise, unique, has impact and is based on your own topics. By the end, you will have the tools you need to deliver a pitch which leaves a lasting impression with any grant application board. Important to know is that the training is specially designed for lawyers established on specific requirements of Dutch and European funding schemes.

When, where, how

The workshop will take place on Friday the 19th of March from 10:00-11:30 via Zoom. To apply, please send an email before Friday the 12th of March 5 PM stating your name and the description of your research in 2-3 sentences to Nathalie Dijkman: n.e.j.dijkman@uva.nl. Afterwards you will receive the Zoom link via email including an explanation video about the workshop.
