Penal Reform International, in partnership with the Amsterdam Law Hub and Bureau Clara Wichmann, is pleased to invite you to a discussion on Lived experience in prison reform: Achievements and challenges. This event will explore the meaningful inclusion of people with lived experience (PWLE) in prison reform, in line with international human rights standards. It aims to foster knowledge-sharing, encourage collaboration, and strengthen the role of PWLE within the prison reform movement.

This new international platform has been initiated by PRI to promote a human rights approach to prison reform, which is based on principles of rehabilitation, reintegration, and restorative justice.

The workshop provides space for reflection, exchange of good practices, and the development of practical approaches to integrate policy and practice experiences.
