On the 9th of September we started the Sustainability Justice Challenge with our partner NautaDutilh. There is a growing global problem when it comes to climate change and access to water and sanitation. Based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN, more specific goals 6 and 13, we hope to be able to support a start-up who wants to find solutions for these global problems, with our partner NautaDutilh.
We also have the themes Legal Tech, powered by ARAG, and Access to Justice. The Law Hub Challenge is created to be able to provide solutions for society. We are looking for people who want to start a start-up regarding inequality in society, you can think about the housing issue in Amsterdam, cybercrime issues, refugees and their rights, or workers that are being exploited, and more.
Do you have an idea for a start-up to help solve an issue related to fair access to water, the sustainable use of natural resources or environmental protection, such as a platform, service, product or initiative that supports UN Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) or Goal 13 (Climate Action)? If so, we encourage you to participate in the Sustainability Justice Challenge!
Access to Justice is all about creating a societal change and wanting to make an impact for the better. Whether this is about the housing market, inclusion of minorities, the rights of workers, protecting the vulnerable or creating more equality within society.
Legal Tech is about using technology to improve the current legal industry. Either to use automation and AI to save time which in turn can make legal services more accessible, or to use Tech to create other improvements within the legal field.
