Do you have a great idea for a legal solution? Read more about what to expect if you are selected for the Incubator Programme.
The coaching programme lasts 3 to 6 months, depending on how quickly you progress and your level upon entry into the programme. While we have our own network of legal innovators and entrepreneurs, we also work with outside parties such as the such as the Amsterdam Centre for Entrepreneurship to professionalise the incubator. These are, in a nutshell, the four aspects we can help you with:
We can help you develop your idea with a team and the right partners. We do this in supervised workshops with experts experienced in developing new ideas into products and services.
With external experts and coaches, we can help ensure that you are exposed to the right workshops and master classes that will allow you to get the knack of entrepreneurship and familiarise yourself with a lean startup methodology for market testing new products and services.
You will pitch your idea to others at a variety of events, both within the university and beyond – the Municipality, the Ministry of Justice and Security, organisations like ARAG (legal expenses insurer), or the rent tribunal. Since each has intimate knowledge of the problems you are trying to solve, they can easily help elaborate your idea.
Competitions winners stand to walk away with 2,500 EUR to get their start-ups up and running. We can help you apply for investment capital in the 5,000 – 10,000 EUR range via the Innovation Exchange Amsterdam (IXA) and we can also connect you with other investors, e.g. the Amsterdam Student Investment Fund.
