In law labs, students work with experts of social institutions, firms or corporations, as well as with staff members of the Amsterdam Law School. The aim is to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, often in an interdisciplinary format. Take a look at the law labs that are currently offered in English.
The Information Law & Policy Lab offers selected master students the unique possibility to combine theory and practice of information law. Lab students will together with partners be responsible for developing and promoting research-based policy solutions that protect fundamental rights in the field of information law, such as intellectual property, privacy and telecommunications.
The course Amsterdam Law Practice in International Criminal Law I (ALP I) ensures experiential learning in the area of international criminal law (ICL). Through a simulation exercise and exchanges with practitioners, students will both improve their legal argumentation skills and enrich their knowledge and understanding of ICL.
