Internships make up part of the experience-oriented education we offer. We see external internships as a type of educational fieldwork; they take place, for example, in government, at the municipality and in law firms.
Internships, as opposed to clinics within the Amsterdam Law School, are a form of “hybrid” clinical education; supervision takes place at the internship post. While performing internships, students also attend lectures at the faculty on professional responsibility and professional ethics.
